William (Bill) Snyder

Now based in Ohio, Bill has practiced law in France (avocat au barreau de Paris) and the US (Ohio, Illinois), as well as in Belgium, the Netherlands and England.

As general counsel for GE businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa for 18 years, he developed a sense of analyzing, managing and solving cross-border problems and disputes. Training included a Richter International Scholarsip in London and an EU Stage/ traineeship in External Relations in Brussels.  A graduate of Northwestern University (BA), the University of Toledo College of Law (JD), and an LLM Magna cum Laude at the University of Brussels, he has dual US- French nationality (with bilingual capabilities). He taught law classes at the Université Pantheon Assas, and holds various directorships having served as President of Northwestern/ Kellogg Alumni Association of France.

Diane Protat

Based in the Paris office, Diane is a multi-talented litigator and business lawyer (she represents one of the largest online dating sites in France), handling personal injury plaintiff cases, Intellectual Property (esp trademark), and every kind of 'dispute' that could arise- from employee complaints to medical malpractice claims. 

A specialist in accident cases, whether in travel, sports, transit or insurance-related, Diane is recognized by clients as being "tenacious" and "excellent in litigation."  

Diane is particularly active in litigations involving French, American and Israeli parties and also handles criminal cases (sexual harassment, #MeToo) involving major companies or institutions, and real estate questions for high wealth clientele.

Fluent in English, Diane studied at Université Pantheon Assas (including a Masters in Criminal Law) and teaches at Unitersité Pantheon Sorbonne.

Agnès Protat

Based in the Paris office, Agnès is also a generalist who knows her way around French law, procedure and administration. While many lawyers spin their wheels, Agnès knows from forty years of practice what is needed to obtain the absolute best result for any client- from insurance cases and commercial disputes.

She is a graduate of HEC Paris, one of Europe's most prestigeous institutions, and represents clients in financial matters before the Caisse des Depots et Consignations. She represents pension funds and high income investors in France.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Agnès also handles legal questions concerning real estate, family law and estate law.
